Coy Koi

This fish came from the scrap pile. He was hiding, but his watery form appeared, so I tried a little negative painting around his shape. Thus the title, "Coy Koi." However, while the colors may seem distinct on the scan, the original painting looks like mud. Scanning a piece of art is like looking at it with a magnifying glass. In this case, it works better than the original. Amazing! (Note: this is not to say that I think it's a good painting, just an interesting discovery.)
